On August 23rd, R/W Connection proudly hosted our 4th Annual Golf Outing at the beautiful Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York. The event brought together 128 golfers — including 26 customer teams, employees, and vendor partners — for a day filled with camaraderie, fun, and a shared commitment to giving back.
More than just a round of golf, this outing was an opportunity to strengthen relationships with our valued customers, employees, and vendors while raising support for a truly inspiring local organization: Leg Up Farm.
A Day of Connection and Gratitude
The outing served as both a customer appreciation event and a meaningful way to support the community. As Bob Bowman, Industrial Sales Manager at R/W Connection, shared:
“This is a fun way to thank our customers for their business and deepen our relationships.”
General Manager Mike Fritzinger echoed this sentiment, saying:
“I’m grateful for the customers and vendors who joined us and for the team that made it happen — it was a great day all around.”
Doubling Our Impact
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our vendor partners — who contributed prizes, raffle items, and financial support — we were able to nearly double our donation compared to last year’s event. This milestone reflects the strong partnerships that fuel both our business and our community efforts.
Supporting Leg Up Farm
Leg Up Farm is a one-of-a-kind facility, the only center in the nation to provide such a comprehensive range of services under one roof:
- Physical, occupational, speech, and mental health therapies
- Nutrition counseling
- Therapeutic horsemanship and equine-assisted therapies
- Educational and recreational programs
Each year, Leg Up Farm empowers nearly 500 individuals with special needs and unique challenges to thrive. We are honored to contribute to their mission and proud to see our community rally behind their important work.
