Crimpable Hose Shanks for Data Centers
Overview:
Crimpable hose shanks are precision-machined connectors designed to provide secure, permanent, and leak-free terminations for flexible hoses used in Data Center cooling and process-fluid systems. Engineered for consistent performance under pressure and thermal cycling, these fittings ensure reliable coolant containment while minimizing assembly time and maintenance. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials and compatible with a wide range of hose constructions, crimpable shanks are essential for high-integrity fluid connections in mission-critical cooling environments.
Key Technical Advantages:
Precision-Machined Construction: Provides uniform crimp engagement and reliable sealing for long-term performance.
High-Strength Materials: Available in stainless steel, brass, or aluminum for corrosion resistance and mechanical durability.
Permanent, Leak-Free Connection: Crimped ferrule attachment eliminates potential loosening associated with clamps or screw fittings.
Smooth Flow Design: Tapered barb geometry reduces turbulence and pressure drop within coolant circuits.
Wide Compatibility: Suitable for EPDM, silicone, and PTFE-lined hoses used in glycol-water, dielectric, and deionized coolant systems.
High Pressure Capability: Rated for continuous operation up to 20 bar (290 psi), depending on hose and ferrule combination.
Ease of Assembly: Compatible with standard crimping tools and equipment for efficient field or OEM installation.
Clean, CFIA-Compliant Surfaces: Polished sealing areas minimize fluid entrapment and support sanitary system design.
Data-Center Application Focus:
Crimpable hose shanks provide durable, high-integrity connections within Data Center cooling networks, including CDUs, pump skids, and manifold assemblies. Their precision fit and permanent crimp design eliminate the risk of leaks and downtime in high-density cooling environments. Ideal for both chilled-water and dielectric-cooling systems, these fittings maintain coolant cleanliness and mechanical reliability under continuous operation. With corrosion-resistant materials and sanitary sealing surfaces, crimpable hose shanks deliver long-term performance and safety in OCP-compliant Data Center liquid-cooling infrastructure.
