Gates Custom Electric Water Pumps
Overview:
Gates Custom Electric Water Pumps are engineered for high-efficiency liquid-cooling applications in mission-critical environments such as Data Centers, power electronics, and industrial systems. Built on Gates’ advanced electric-motor technology, these pumps deliver precise coolant flow, improved energy performance, and superior reliability under continuous operation. Their modular design allows integration into systems ranging from compact rack-level loops to full-scale coolant distribution units (CDUs), ensuring optimal performance across diverse cooling architectures.
Key Technical Advantages:
High-Efficiency Motor Technology: Utilizes axial-flux or radial-flux motor architecture for superior power density and up to 30% improved efficiency over conventional electric pump designs.
Modular Power Platforms: Scalable output configurations—from low-watt micro pumps to multi-kilowatt high-flow units—tailored to the system’s duty cycle and thermal load.
Coolant-Isolated Electronics: Dry-rotor construction separates electronic components from the coolant path, enhancing reliability and service life.
Coolant Compatibility: Designed for use with glycol-water, deionized, and dielectric coolants common to direct-to-chip and immersion cooling systems.
Compact, Lightweight Design: Slim housing and flexible mounting options simplify integration in dense mechanical or rack-mounted environments.
Integrated Monitoring Options: Available with pressure, flow, or temperature sensors for advanced system control and predictive maintenance.
Data-Center Application Focus:
For Data Center thermal management, Gates Custom Electric Water Pumps provide a precise, efficient, and scalable solution to coolant circulation. These pumps ensure stable flow and pressure in high-density liquid-cooling systems, maintaining consistent temperatures across servers, manifolds, and heat exchangers. Their modular design allows operators to tailor performance for CDUs, rack-level cooling, or immersion systems, while high motor efficiency directly contributes to reduced energy consumption and improved Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE). With long service life, minimal maintenance, and reliable electronic isolation, Gates Custom Electric Water Pumps set the standard for next-generation liquid-cooling infrastructure.
