Continental DataGuard™ Cooling Hose
Overview:
The Continental DataGuard™ Cooling Hose is purpose-built for mission-critical Data Center liquid-cooling applications where system cleanliness, durability, and reliability are essential. Designed to perform under continuous operation in high-density server environments, this hose combines a peroxide-cured, zinc-free EPDM inner tube with reinforced construction to ensure stable flow and chemical compatibility over long service life. Its compact profile and high flexibility make it ideal for routing through tight mechanical spaces in rack manifolds, CDUs, and chiller connections.
Key Technical Advantages:
Zinc-Free, Peroxide-Cured EPDM Tube: Prevents metal extractables and maintains coolant purity in closed-loop systems.
Reinforced Construction: Synthetic fiber braid reinforcement provides consistent pressure control and resistance to kinking.
Flame-Resistant Cover: Meets UL 94 V-0 and UL 224 VW-1 requirements for fire safety in electronic environments.
Superior Flexibility: Allows tight-radius bends for efficient routing in high-density installations.
Coolant Compatibility: Suitable for glycol-water, dielectric, and deionized coolants used in modern liquid-cooling systems.
Temperature Range: Operates from –40 °C to +100 °C (–40 °F to +212 °F) without performance degradation.
Ozone and Aging Resistance: Maintains mechanical integrity in electronics-heavy, ozone-rich environments.
Data-Center Application Focus:
The Continental DataGuard™ Cooling Hose is engineered to support Data Center liquid-cooling systems that demand consistent reliability and contaminant-free operation. It ensures clean, stable coolant flow through CDUs, rack manifolds, and direct-to-chip cooling loops while resisting heat, ozone, and mechanical stress. With flame-resistant construction, zinc-free materials, and excellent flexibility, DataGuard™ enhances uptime and efficiency in OCP-compliant environments—providing a durable, maintenance-friendly solution for next-generation thermal management infrastructure.
